Puerto Iguazu, Iguazu Falls, Argentina (03/01/19-05/01/19)

We finally arrived in the afternoon, 18 hours later… It was a long journey!
There isn’t much else to do in the town itself other than to go and visit the waterfalls so on our first day we had some lunch, took our laundry to be washed, had a little walk around and chilled out in our apartment sweating because the air con wasn’t working properly. It was really hot (34 degrees) and really humid! We cooked our tea here and then managed to get moved to a different room with working air con for the night time.
The next day we got up early and got the bus to Iguazu Jungle to see the famous waterfalls. Firstly we got in a truck and were driven through the jungle and then we got a speed boat tour of the falls where they drove us up close and then through the waterfalls. We were absolutely soaked from head to toe, but it was amazing!! After this we took a train to the ‘Devils throat’ which again, was so good.. We never thought we would be so amazed but we were. At this part of the falls, you could see Brazil on the other side (we will visit from this side next). Then we took two different walking trails to get different view points of them. On the way around, we come across some Coatis, Capybaras and Toucans.. Oh and Jonho got stung by a wasp! We were on the look out for Monkeys, Jaguars and Pumas but didn’t see any!
